The Evil Eye: A Gentle Reminder
The evil eye is one of those symbols that seems to find you when you’re ready for it.
For me, it wasn’t something I grew up with or actively searched for. It was introduced to me by a friend, someone who openly shared her love for the evil eye and the meaning behind it. At the time, I admired it with interest. But the more I listened, the more curious I became, and the more space I allowed for the ideas of protection, guidance, and angel numbers, the more the evil eye began to quietly weave itself into my life.
And honestly, once you open yourself up to something, you start noticing it everywhere.
Opening Up to Protection & Guidance
As I became more aware of angel numbers and gentle signs of guidance, the evil eye started to feel less like a symbol and more like a reminder. A reminder to stay grounded. To move intentionally. To protect my energy, not in a fearful way, but in a calm, conscious one.
I began to see the beauty in taking small steps to support myself day to day. Tiny rituals that don’t feel overwhelming or rigid, but instead feel comforting and personal. That’s where the evil eye fits so perfectly for me.
It doesn’t demand anything.
It simply reminds.
Finding Comfort in Small Rituals
I’ve never been someone who believes you need big, dramatic rituals to feel supported. For me, it’s the quiet, everyday things that matter most, and that’s where the evil eye fits so beautifully.
One of my favourite ways to use it is a hanging evil eye decor piece in my car. It’s always there when I’m driving, a gentle reminder to breathe, stay present, and feel protected while I move through my day.
I also love wearing evil eye jewellery. There’s something comforting about having that symbol close to you, especially on days that feel full or overwhelming. It doesn’t feel loud or heavy, it just feels reassuring. And if you know me well, you’ll probably spot me wearing evil eye clothing pieces too.
Around my home, I have small evil eye display pieces tucked into shelves and corners. They don’t demand attention, but they quietly bring a sense of calm and intention into the space. They feel like home.
The Colours I’m Drawn To
I’ve always been drawn to blue evil eyes. The balance between light blue and dark blue feels like a beautiful harmony, calm, protective, and steady. There’s something about that combination that feels grounding and timeless.
Alongside blue, I also love pink evil eye decor pieces for their soft, nurturing feel, and one of my favourite evil eye bracelets features green eyes.
A Gentle Reminder, Not a Rule
For me, the evil eye isn’t about fear, superstition, or rigid beliefs. It’s about intention and awareness. It’s about choosing to protect your energy in small, meaningful ways and creating moments of calm throughout your day.
Whether it’s hanging in your car, worn on your wrist, sitting on your journal, or displayed in your home, the evil eye becomes a gentle presence. A reminder to pause, ground, and trust that you are supported, guided, and allowed to move through life at your own pace.
Sometimes, the smallest symbols hold the most beautiful meaning.
